Dial 911 on any telephone for emergency services such as accident, fire, police or medical emergency. There is no cost for calling 911 or for the services of the police or the fire department; there is a fee for the ambulance if the ambulance transports a person to the hospital.

Public-Safety Communications Centre
The Brandon Public-Safety Communications Centre includes the 911 call center for the Brandon Police Service and Brandon Fire & Emergency Services as well as all Manitoba communities with 911 service outside of Winnipeg. The 911 Centre has access to a translation service for any language.

Brandon Police Service
Brandon has its own police service that manages the city of Brandon including crime detection and crime investigation, along with public education and a variety of specialized units. There is also a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) station just outside the city limits. The Brandon City Police (BPS) and the RCMP work together as well.

Brandon Fire & Emergency Services
Brandon has a fully equipped Fire Department with two fire stations. The fire fighters are also trained medical paramedics and operate both the fire/rescue service and the ambulance service.
